Abe no Mitora (安倍三寅)

ABE no Mitora (the date of birth and death unknown) was a government official in the early Heian Period. His place of birth is unknown.

He was conferred Jugoinoge (Junior Fifth Rank, Lower Grade) in 864. He continued to serve in positions such as Konoefu (the headquarters of the inner palace guards,) Mikawa no kuni Gon no suke (Provisional Assistant Governor of Omi Province,) Mikawa no kuni Gon no taijo (a rank of judges under the Ritsuryo system (a system of centralized government based on the ritsuryo code,)) Omi no suke (assistant governor of Omi Province) and Meryo (the section taking care of imperial horses,) and was allowed to grow falcons sanren (鷹三連) by the Imperial court in December 866. He was promoted to Jugoinojo (Junior Fifth Rank, Upper Grade) in 879. After that, he served as Samanosuke (vice-minister of the left division of the bureau of horses) and was appointed as Chinju-fu shogun (Commander-in-Chief of the Defense of the North) in 884. He became Provisional Governor of Inaba Province in 886.
